Telah dilakukan pengukuran partikulat dengan HVAS dan LVAS jenis Gent sampler di Puslibang Kualitas dan
Laboratorium Lingkungan (P3KLL) Serpong pada periode April-Mei 2018. Uji korelasi data kedua instrumen
dilakukan dengan analisis data Ms.Excel, perhitungan rumus matematis korelasi Pearson, dan SPSS dengan hasil
korelasi mencapai 0,836 dan 0,786 masing-masing untuk PM10 dan PM2,5. Nilai korelasi kedua data bersifat kuat
karena nilainya mendekati 1. Uji korelasi Pearson dengan SPSS menunjukan 95% data signifikan dengan arah positif.
Nilai dari kedua instrumen menunjukkan arah yang sama ketika dibandingkan dengan kondisi suhu, kelembaban,
dan kecepatan angin. Nilai korelasi dapat menjadi rumus pemodelan untuk mengetahui nilai yang sebenarnya.

Salah satu upaya pengendalian pencemaran udara ambien adalah dengan melakukan pengambilan contoh uji partikulat udara ambien. Ketersediaan data untuk kualitas udara sangat minim. Teknik pengambilan sampel partikulat menurut standar pemerintah dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat High Volume Air Sampler (HVAS) dengan metode analisis gravimetri.
